The Farm at Swan’s Trail

The Farm at Swans Trail is entering its 19th year of fall fun, from a humble opening in 1995 when we started with 5 acres of pumpkins, wagon rides, a petting farm and hay maze, we set out on a path that we could never have imagined would be both fun and the means to help sustain our small family farm.   Over the years the addition of The Washington State Corn Maze, the Pig Show, duck races, play area, putting course, u-pick apples, sweet corn and great food have provided families with an opportunity for having fun together and building memories.

We hope you will venture out to see us this fall, pick some great pumpkins sample our cider donuts, roasted corn, cinnamon rolls or hand pies, the farm fries are hot fresh and yummy, and I never get tired of pumpkin chili. Don’t miss the pig show, be sure to wander through the maze and ride the wagon, and bring the kids and grandma too. Coming to the farm is all about family being together and having fun!

PUMPKIN PATCH

The pumpkin patch at the farm seems to get bigger and better every year. This year the farm is growing over 50 acres of pumpkins and gourds which include some 30 varieties. We have honey crisp and Jonagold apples to u-pick and sweet corn for sale to take home buy roasted. Our play area for children includes a petting farm, hay maze, slides, swings and giant jumping pillow, peddle carts and the cow train. We have wheelbarrows for pumpkin picking and lots of room to roam about in searching for the perfect pumpkins.

CORN MAZE

The signature feature of our farm is The Washington State Corn Maze a 12 acre maze which is a scale model of a giant map of the evergreen state. There are over 600 road signs, historical landmarks, and enough history lessons to bring thousands of school kids out to the farm each year to begin their study of Washington State history and geography. We have fun scavenger hunts for the answers to historical events and places in Washington. What do you really know about the state you live in, come and have fun and find out some great trivia!
